Customer Service at hotel is amazing. Yu Shuto and W.Hara went beyond what I expected. Shutosan helped me figure out the train system, personally helped me move rooms to be closer to my kids room at 4am and personally delivered more towels to my room at 3am. Miss Harasan found me medicine for my headache since the on property 7-11 was closed at 5am. I am amazed at the level of prompt and empathetic service. Hotel common areas have a 4-star atmosphere. Rooms are 3.5 - 4 star. Not a 4 - star by US standards, but for the price I paid for the week (2x $1050 for 5 nights, not including breakfast) I am happy with the condition of the room. Water temperature is awesome as the hot water can get to scalding instantly and the temperature seems very consistent. There is a deep bath tub in each room if you choose to take a relaxing hot bath after exploring Tokyo. Mita station is a 5 min walk from hotel lobby. Basically 2 blocks away. The Tamachi station (JR Yamanote line) is 10-15 min walk away. Still very convenient if you or your family is okay with walking. Taxi from hotel to Tamachi station is like US$4-5. There are many many eateries around the Tamachi station. Fitness Room has 2 treadmills, 2 eliptical machines, and 1 stationary bike that it quite weird ergonomically. Also an ab bench, yoga mat, and yoga ball in the room. Room opens at 6am and there is no additional fees to use it. Breakfast at the ala carte restaurant in front of the front desk was amazing. Best breakfast my family has ever had. Every detail in preparation and presentation seemed like a Michelen star restaurant. The orange was so sweet, the egg was light and fluffy, the salad was not overpowering in flavors, the fruits were delicate in sweetness. The croissant was flakey and airy all the way through each bite. My kids are picky eaters, but they enjoyed all the different flavors, textures, and presentation of the breakfast. We ordered the American Style breakfast and paid $76 for 4 orders of breakfast. Back home I would’ve probably had to pay at least $160 with tip for a similar experience. This hotel and the Villa Fontaine in Shiodome was recommended to me from a friend how used to live and work in Japan for 10 years. Now they visit 4-5 times a year. Without his recommendation, I would’ve never have found / booked this wonderful hotel. Overall I would say the 4-Star hotel level is accurate. For what I paid, I feel like I got a 10-star value for my money. No complaints, very happy with my hotel selection and experience. Will stay here again if visiting Tokyo.

“Nice hotel”

Nice. Hotel. Modern and spacious. Good facilities. Rooms are clean and adequate size. Restaurant served good food at reasonable pricesSituated in the business district ,but only 20 min by train from shinjuku. Close to the subway and an easy way to travel to the airports.

Had a very nice stay at this hotel for a solo trip to Japan. It’s a great location with only a 5 min walk (2 mins if you’re a New Yorker) to the Shibakoen subway station and also easily walkable to the Mita station (~ 8-10 mins). My room didn’t have a view of Tokyo Tower but it’s a lovely 15 min stroll to that landmark which is super helpful if you are ever lost (just look for the Tower and you know you’re close). I booked the moderate queen room which felt a bit tight upon arrival but it’s apparently on par with room sizes in the area. It’s smartly designed so even if you are traveling with a suitcase, carry on and additional medium to large size bag, you’ll have the space you need. Amenities were great with complimentary snacks and (nonalcoholic) drinks served daily in the lounge next to the patio area. Exercise rooms were well suited and always had available machines even during the morning at popular workout times. I took one star away because the wifi was quite weak in my room and floor; so much so the connection was too weak to maintain a connection for voice calls using WhatsApp. The lobby wifi however was flawless. A big highlight was the on-site dining offerings with very reasonable prices for breakfast lunch and dinner. I booked a room without breakfast included but opted to pay for the full breakfast one morning and it was wonderful. Very plentiful with tons of options from fresh fruit to miso soup to fried chicken, cereal, eggs, whatever you could want. The lunch options are consistently fantastic and were actually some of the best meals during my entire stay in Japan. Oh! Also there is a currency exchange kiosk on site which is extremely convenient for international guests. Tokyo station is just a few stops (~15 mins) by subway. All the staff were excellent and also the showers and toilets were great! No need to pack toiletries as they’ll have everything you need from hair brushes to bath salts free of charge. Bed and bedding was very very comfy and the room temps were perfect. Great sunlight in the room and black out curtains that work wonderfully for a quiet and restful sleep. Would recommend as a top option for travelers staying in the Tokyo area.
