Very happy about our stay. We had half broad - which is recommended. Bike lock in basement, with a little bikeshop and repair. Very nice location 200m from beach. Quiet and familyfriendly. Nice pool. Restaurant can be crouded at specific times.
We chose the hotel primarily on the basis of recommendations for family entertainment and the cost for an iberostar hotel. This coupled with food reviews, as well as a great transfer time from Palma Airport made the choice easier. Our experience, we are glad to say, matched the positive reviews of others. Special commendation goes for the encouraging and friendly attitudes of pretty much the entire staff of the hotel with too many to mention by name. Entertainment was great both for kids and adults, with food and drinks a good match. The rooms were pretty fresh with better than average sound proofing. Location is close to the beach and the very attractive Palma Bay although we cannot really recommend some of the nearby properties. They do however provide a range of shops and facilities which you are welcome to enjoy. Overall we would very much recommend the hotel, especially if you can pick up a good deal. The holiday was throrughly enjoyed by all the kids, both young and old! We reckon the hotel reflects high Iberostar standards with our only question being how they have managed to motivate their staff so very well?
We stayed at this amazing hotel in September on an all inclusive package with Jet2 and we normally never go back to the same hotel but we have actually booked for next year already. On arrival we were greeted by Margo with a glass of cava followed by a super quick check in. Margo goes the extra mile with everyone and is so quick and efficient. The dining experience was superb as was the food. Ferrer and Susanne are a very funny double act whilst effortlessly doing their job. All the other staff were good too and nothing was too much trouble. The weather wasn't too warm and the hotel even provided lovely white shawl type blankets to keep us warm while we watched the brilliant outside entertainment. Nice touch! Looking forward to seeing you all next September.
We had a wonderful week in this lovely hotel. Only a short walk to the very clean, sandy beach and close to shops and bars. We stayed half board as a huge breakfast is usually enough to see us through until dinner. The food was excellent with plenty of choice including taster evenings of Mexican and Sushi. Everywhere was spotlessly clean and tidy and all the staff were very friendly and good humoured. Our restaurant waiter Ferrer was very entertaining and all the bar staff great fun, especially Stefan. The entertainments manager Emma did a great job with different shows every evening. Amazing. We walked most days along the lovely flat promenade which runs alongside the beach. The pool area is very clean and huge with plenty of sunbeds. The majority of the guests at this hotel seemed to be German which suits us fine as we think Iberostar fulfills the high standards they expect. The resort seems to be a party area for groups of men, but this presented no problems at all as everyone just seemed to be having fun and enjoying their holiday.
I am currently staing in the hotel till sunday. The hotel looks good vut isn't anything near what people actually describe. To start it off I had booked a single double bed, I have got two single beds just put togeather. After calling the lobby, I got the answer '' all hotel just like that... no double bed". The showers water doesn't go thru as it should, when I am in the shower water gets to mu ankle. Complained about it.. but I could sleep another night on it. there are cups with tea bags in the room, but no kettle.. If you want to use the safe.. you need to pay.. if you need towels for the pool.. you need to pay for it and btw no tap water availible.. a bottle of water 750 ml is about 3 euro's and you dont get a mini bar, you'll get an empty fridge. However the lobby staff are very helpfull and the rooms are really clean. The food was a bit of problme for me. I personally don't eat pork/ham/bacon, but the grills used is for all kinds of meat. And the kitchen staff are not always avle to answer your questions (don't speak Engglish). I asked if the ravioli was a veggie, answer was yes? It was filled with ham! If I sum my visit up to now after 2 days, I can say the price/ quality value is far from each other, same goes for the stars given. if you pay around 1000 euro's I strongly recommend you to look further. If the hotel manager want to talk about this with me, I'm more than happy to talk to him/her. Amin
