This hotel's standing as one of the world's premier hotels and its well-earned and evident upon arrival. It's not just a place to stay; it's an integral part of the allure of San Miguel De Allende. Visitors flock here to be able to say they stayed at the Rosewood in SMDA. The unparalleled luxury, impeccable service, and attention to detail create an experience that transcends mere accommodation. I've only been gone for a short period but i cant wait to go back. I highly recommended you stay here. The main plaza is a short walk from the hotel and its very safe.

This was our 2nd time to visit San Miguel and our 1st time to stay at the Rosewood. The hotel is beyond compare with any other hotel we have ever stayed at. The room was so quiet we never heard any noise. The room and the entire property was emaculate. The beds and pillows were perfect for both of us and that almost never is the case at other hotels. The staff was so friendly and agreeable to every request we made including food requests that were not on the menu. I never had anyone say “no”. Breakfast is absolutely the best but is not included in the room charge. The landscaping and vast property is comparable to Disney World landscaping. The location is so very convenient, walking distance to most restaurants and shopping. Of course there is a cost to this “Fantasy Land” but well worth it and if you book for 5 nights one night is free. Weekend rates are the most expensive.

The Rosewood San Miguel was an excellent 5 star property. It has a resort feel and the location was very convenient with everything in walking distance. We stayed in the 4 bedroom residence which was perfect and had plenty of space. The kitchen had high end appliances and we really enjoyed the hot tub on the roof. The beds, linens, and bathrooms were all luxurious as expected. I particularly liked the oversized pillows. They had the perfect amount of fluff. We also appreciated the fire places in the living room, master, and bedroom B. The residence had 2 entrances, one of which led right to the pool. All of the staff members we came in contact with were very king and helpful. Monserrat, our concierge for our stay, was particularly kind and helpful. The Luna rooftop had great views and cocktails. There are also many good dining options just a short walk away. The Spa was excellent and the attendants were very kind and brought cold towels, body scrub, and cucumbers while I was enjoying my steam. The attention to detail was superb- sunglass wipes were placed next to any glasses that were left out and bookmarks on the books. This is what makes a 5 star hotel so special. The turndown service was also top tier with slippers, mats played out on each side of the bed, and water placed on the night stands as well as a leather plate to put your jewelry on. The service at the pool was excellent and the chairs were very comfortable. Definitely on par with other 5 star Mexican resorts- St. Regis Punta Mita and Four Seasons to name a few. With all of that being said there is always room for improvement. We had 2 people in our party with allergies (one nuts and one gluten). I made this clear before we showed up. On the second night, macaroons were sent to the room. This was a nice touch but they contained both nuts and gluten so only 2 of us could enjoy them. At a property of this scale, there should have been an option for the other 2 guests and also a warning on the macaroons. We also had a problem with the rooftop hot tub not being hot enough. They sent maintenance and had this resolved. My final point of improvement, specially for the residences, is the need for a sound system. In this day and age there should be a Sonos system. 2 of the rooms had outdated iHome speakers. While that may have been acceptable in 2012, not in 2024. Sonos is the standard for luxury homes and hotels. With that being said, overall we had a wonderful stay and would absolutely return. Highly recommend.

I stayed at the Rosewood hotel last Xmas, I live in California, so my family and I visisted San Miguel de Allende, and it is an amazing place. I really loved the Hotel, the service was the correct one. The only problem was that it was kind of nosiy at night. I was taking a shower when someone knocked at my door and nobody was there. I had been to San Miguel many times, but it was my firts time at your Hotel. It was kind of expenise, but it worths. The concierge was very nice to us when we asked for help. Travellers come and join what Mexico offers, it is nice place.
