The riad is located in a quiet small street, still in walking distance from the vibrant medina. We really enjoyed the beautiful, authentic atmosphere in all areas: the stylish inner garden, the rooftop’s sitting corners, the small indoor pool where you can relax under the stars after your hot day in Marrakesh… and of course our comfy small room that had everything we needed during our 3-day stay. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful, they made the first days of our honeymoon unforgettable. Thank you Okaniak, Rabja and Buba!!!!

“What an awesome place!!!”

Our family of three stayed in Riad Dar Palmyra for 3 days. Actually, we are leaving tomorrow morning but I love Riad Dar Palmyra so much that I couldn't wait to tell about it! We asked the hotel to book a taxi from the airport for us and it was all well arranged. The place is absolutely charming. An actual, traditional Moroccan housing with a beautiful interior and details. A lovely pool which in my opinion is magical and just perfect - a little bit of the open sky is just above the pool :) And the tarrace, oh my! Just a perfect place to relax under a Berberys tent on comfortable couches or you can sunbathe and then soothe under a shower which is even there. The patio is still one of the loveliest things we've seen in Marrakech :) The hotel is very clean and comfortable and there is absolutely everything you might need. There is just one thing - the photos of the place we saw before coming are not that awesome as the place itself! :-) Believe me, you can fall in love with the authenticity and the comfort of Riad Palmyra. The room is again so cosy and beaufitul. The room is cleaned daily when we leave the hotel. We love the blue bathroom. We are here with an over 1yr old baby and he's having a great time here. And Riad Palmyra wouldnt be so great without their people. The riad's manager (Mr B.?) is very helpful and he also offered us warm milk for the baby so we could prepare his meal. So kind. Food! Amina has prepared for us actually the best tajina and the best food in general that we have tasted in Morocco. You order it a couple of hours in advance as Amina prepares it all by herself. Surprisingly, we have found the real Moroccan food that every tourist looks for just here! Amina, you are great. ❤️ Location. Again perfect. Just outside the walls of the medina, not in the middle of the medina chaos but just next to Bab Agnaou and a couple of minutes of walking from all the places you want to see in Medina - Tombs Sadieens, Badi Palace, Koutibia, El Bahia, Jema El Fna, souks etc. The location couldn't be better. Don't look for overcrowded and noisy places inside the Medina. Don't look for contemporary and overpriced hotels without a soul in the new city. Riad Dar Palmyra has it all :)

“Excellent hospitality”

We stayed in Riad Dar Palmyra for one night. The host and staff was very friendly and made us feel ourselves at home. The tea was perfect and so was the breakfast. Also, it is very close to the city center. I definitely recommend it.

We booked this Riad over expedia for our 5 night stay in Marrakesh. It is perfectly located in the Medina close to Sidi Mimoun, so you can walk to all major sites. We booked this Riad over expedia for our 5 night stay in Marrakesh. It is perfectly located in the Medina close to Sidi Mimoun, so you can walk to all major sites. Soon after booking I received an email from Mouhcine from the hotel to ask about transfer, which we happily booked with them and worked well. Mind you if you do that, the drivers are waiting at arrivals right outside the building. Mouhcine, the host/manager, is readily available to talk to when on property during the day otherwise easy to get over whatsapp. Wether it is to book a tour, dinner or get to know about Marrocco you can ask him and he’ll help. Upon arrival we were seated and welcomed with tea to await for our room allocation. The hotel consists out of two buildings. Riad dar Palmyra the main building and next door Riad dar Sirine.Both is well looked after and welcoming. We stayed in Sirine and opted to have our breakfast in Palmyra, where they operate the kitchen. But we had the choice where we wanted to eat. Speaking of food. If you wish to eat with the hotel you can prebook dinner at reasonable prices. Breakfast is simple Marroccan and a bit continental style but enough and good quality. Houses in Marrakesh ar build high with a courtyard in the middle. Hence don’t be suprrised if you room has only windows to look into the courtyard. The riad is very close to about 4 Mosques. So you get the call for prayer quite vividly, but that i spart of their culture, and hence one either gets used to it, or shall rather stay outside the Medina. Both buildings had a very nice terrace one could enjoy any time. Riad dar Palmyra has a pool too. This is right in the entrance, reception and kitchen and only appropriate to take a dip on a very hot summer day. But when sight seeing you don’t have time to even sun lounge. We were in room 11 in the Sirine building. It was cleaned daily and had all amenities required: internet, hot and good shower, tv with even internaional channels. Our room door was locked with a pad lock, which I think may be a result of someone having lost a key at one point. It did not bother us much. The door itself had a bolt lociking, which was operated inside just the same as outside. Overall a very good place to stay, bit hearted hospitality with Mouhcine, Bubba and the ladies in the kitchen (always smiling). Thank you all for a great stay.
