“Good Location”

Hotel was in a good location and within walking distance of the city’s sights and transport system. Room was small with terrible view but it and the whole hotel were scrupulously clean. Beds were very comfy, breakfast was adequate. Would have appreciated tea and coffee making facilities and more... more

Hotel was in a good location and within walking distance of the city’s sights and transport system. Room was small with terrible view but it and the whole hotel were scrupulously clean. Beds were very comfy, breakfast was adequate. Would have appreciated tea and coffee making facilities and more storage space. Staff were very personable and helpful.

“Quaint, Clean, but Needs a Facelift”

I said at the Residencial Dublin, from April 28 to May 3, and I have found it very charming and nice. My room was clean and tidy a bit on the smaller side but on vacation you only need it to sleep and shower. The staff were very courteous and nice to me. The breakfast was good, with prompt service by the staff. The rate I paid was fair for a hotel within walking distance of Marques de Pombal Square(you can get the metro here and connect to all of Lisbon and the airport bus lets you off here too). From hear you can walk all over downtown Lisbon, and to Rio Tejo, Castelo de Sao Jorge, you are 2 blocks to the Avenida de Liberdade, Rooms come equipped with a small fridge, with a few supermarkets close by, I was able to keep a supply of cold bottled water on hand along with a few midnight snacks on hand. Within feet of the front door are several restaurants with great food and great prices. I have only 2 minor complaints a) I think the front of the building/facade could use some repairs and updates and b) I thought my ensuite bathroom was a bit tight. The space between the sink and toilet was a almost tight squeeze. For a short stay of a week or less this hotel is a great deal. I would recommend it to my friends who are not looking for fancy frills in a hotel.

“Good for a one-night stop over and/or if on a budget.”

We used this for an overnight stop having flown late into Lisbon and wanting a budget place, and this was just the job. Given the price, unremarkable but perfectly good for a night's sleep. We used this for an overnight stop having flown late into Lisbon and wanting a budget place, and this was just the job. Given the price, unremarkable but perfectly good for a night's sleep. And very usefully, if you turn right out of the front door and go 100 yards there is an excellent late night bar-restaurant (food until nearly midnight, drinks til 1am); go another 100 yards and you'll find a good terrace cafe for breakfast (we didn't have the hotel breakfast as we were meeting a friend). And if you just happen to be renting motorcycles from IMT Bike (as we were), it's a five minute walk away - perfect.

“Old building. Lovely staff.”

This place needs a refurbishment. Very old building. The room was clean and the staff was very polite. The price was a bit high but is well located near the city centre. Plenty of shops and restaurants nesr by.
