“Great experience”
Really enjoyed our stay here, the hotel is lovely and staff were friendly. Great breakfast and the pastries/fruit in the lobby was a nice touch. Location is good too, about a 20 minute walk or so to the riverside which is beautiful. Would definitely stay again.

“Lovely find.”
Stayed for 3 nights. Had a huge room on the 3rd floor. Room was huge, very clean, with a really big comfy bed. Lovely shower with plenty hot water. Jorge on reception was so lovely. Nice breakfast too. I would return here if we come back to Porto.

“An excellent hotel to visit Porto especially if driving”
The hotel is about 10 minutes from the metro and 15 minutes from the marina with the Porto waterfront about 30 minutes walking. Hidden away in plain sight on a beautiful square, the hotel entrance, reception area, breakfast area and staircase are full of beautiful original features. “Great for a night”
We stayed at The Rex for one night -- a quick stop in Porto -- and found it to be a fine place to call home. For less than $100/night, we had a comfortable room with a very large terrace.
