“Hotel great area not great”

Hotel is well kept and transportation to Harem is super. Breakfast is enough and good. The surrounding area is not up to the level of hotel. Good stay for us. Travel to Al Harem was only for 2 minutes. This is a positive point. Very crowed property

Le Meridian Towers is always a good choice when travelling with children and families. The 2 bedroom suites are comfortable spacious and accommodates families. Beds and pillows are not that grand. Bedding is also very basic and shabby. Bathrooms are tops. Water is hot and shower comes out well. Kitchen just has a fridhe freezer micro and kettle. NOTHING ELSE in the kitchen. No cutlery plates cups pots spoons. Take or buy your own. House keeping was very disappointing. Very slow and inefficient. Didn't wipe floors clean bathroom vacuum. They ere always in a hurry. We had to keep asking them for things. Maintenance was fast is sorting the hot water. Shuttle to nd fro to haram shareef is very quick and fast. You have to leave about 30 to 45 minutes before azaan to get a good space for salaat. Where the bus drops you is about a 15/20 min walk to haram shareef depending on crowds after salaat wait 30 mins and then go to get the bus. It's busy and you sometimes have to stand. It's a bit of a distance for older people considering you going up down for salaat. Younger fit people will manage it. They do have a small shop for basic necessities on the 5th floor.

good hotel with excellent location located near masjidil haram and not that far to walk. and also they always have shuttle bus. facilities is quite good, very friendly staff, the room was clean and very big, the breakfast not my favorite but good.

We arrived in a group of 85 in early hours of 17/2/24. Allocation of room took 3 hours which impacted our umrah timings. We arrived in a group of 85 in early hours of 17/2/24. Allocation of room took 3 hours which impacted our umrah timings. Unbeknown to us the hotel has a power cut on the tower 8 which was allocated to our group, what this meant only 1 life was working so took ages to get luggage to rooms, no light in rooms, had to use phone torch for wuzu. In our group we had vulnerable ppl and children. My room had a drain smell and was unclean, someone had diarrhoea and toilet not been flushed, kitchen sink had 1kg of tea leaves. Bathroom 2 had a flood and beadie had urine.. It’s not what you need after a long journey. The toilets were dirty see pictures. Clearly the room had not been cleaned. The reception did not inform us the power had gone most of the group thought the room cards were not working. It was only when we threatened to change after doing our umrah that they took us seriously and power was resorted late evening on Friday. I had to ask 4 different members of staff to clean room, it got cleaned but not properly the group leader had to demand a thorough clean and then got cleaned. After that I got room service each day. The hotel is very big and confusing to navigate it has separate lofts for each tower l not suitable for elderly or vulnerable ppl to go on own. It has a reasonable priced shopping centre, staff are friendly. It has a coffee shop and two restaurants. Breakfast has a reasonable choice but no omelette counter only boiled eggs for 4 days. The shuttle is very good only 5 mins to haram and always two buses either side never had to wait for more than a few minutes to set off.
