Stately midieval castle atop a hill in the small town of Ciudad Rodrigo with incredible views of the picturesque countryside. The place exudes history and knightly character! “Lovely quiet historical”
Very interesting hotel built into a parador in lovely Ciudad Rodrigo. The dinner in the hotel restaurant was outstanding with perfect service, as was the burger and cocktail in the bar. Breakfast nice. The hotel is in a great location with fabulous views all around. It is a oeaceful, quiet town.

“Excellent stay in beautiful historic location”
We had an excellent stay in this historic and beautifully restored building. The view from our room and the restaurant is amazing. The staff is friendly and helpful. It’s located on the city walls and the accessibility is fine.

“Challenging to get to, but worth it!”
Despite not believing that we could possibly drive through the narrow gates, we did and were happy we chose Parador de Ciudad Rodrigo. It's an impressive structure, beautifully appointed. Staff were pleasant and helpful. There is no elevator and reaching most rooms requires some steps.

Located in a castle next to the city walls in the delightful small City of Rodrigo Ciudad. The Parador is nicely situated for visiting the city.
