A perfect city centre hotel - not far from the main station or other public transport options. It's a lovely 25 minute walk down to the promenade for great views over the lake. The hotel staff were kind enough to led us an adaptor when we realised ours was broken, and even gave us mugs of hot water when requested for tea/cup a soup. To note: the hotel rooms do not provide a kettle or tea-making facilities!

“Very good hotel for the price”

We stayed at the IBIS for 4 nights and paid £370 which I thought was good value we had to pay taxes on top of that which was another 30 Swiss francs on arrival. We stayed at the IBIS for 4 nights and paid £370 which I thought was good value we had to pay taxes on top of that which was another 30 Swiss francs on arrival. The hotel is a little way out its about a 15 min walk to the train station but it a 5 min walk to the tram stop and you can get that across to old town so it is a really accessible hotel for a good price. The hotel its self was great the room was clean and spacious and the check in was good we didn’t eat here but we did sit in the bar at night and play cards all the staff were very welcoming I think for the price we paid I would book again the reason I didn’t give it 5 stars was due to the fact we asked for clean towels and didn’t get them and we asked for an extra pillow but were told no spare pillows could be found

My partner and I stayed here on our visit to Geneva in late November 2023. It was a very pleasant hotel. The rooms were basic but spacious and comfortable. The reception and bar area are very nice and that staff at reception were always very helpful and gave us good advice on sights to see in the city. The hotel is actually not too far a walk into the city and was based in a quiet area. We enjoyed walking into the centre from here. All in all, a nice stay and would definitely go back if we visit Geneva again.

The staff who work at this hotel are exceptionally friendly and helpful, they speak good English (my French is terrible) and nothing was too much trouble. Although not in the centre of the city the location is good and on the number 8 bus line which will take you into the city, to the lake and into the old town without any changes. The number 5 line is a few minutes walk away. The hotel and rooms were what you would expect from an ibis, comfortable beds, good size bathrooms and shower and everywhere was very clean. I would definitely stay here again, and I’m hard to please! Only slight criticism is that there are no tea / coffee makings or kettle in the rooms.
