Fabulous five days, friendliest hotel in Europe. Ritz is great, but these folks treat you like family….from doormen, room staff, waiters, bar…..all around professional and yet so real and personable. Huge hats off to Virag in the Club, John the Doorman and Nelson the concierge. I could go on, but after five days they are now family! Can’t wait to come and see them again. Thanks to the entire team! BTW, grab some fare at the Whistle bar/restaurant The peppers as an appetizer are out of this world

“Great stay and great people”

Had a lovely stay. The hotel, lobby, and bar were well presented and maintained, everything looked super clean and polished, but the people made the difference. Had a lovely stay. The hotel, lobby, and bar were well presented and maintained, everything looked super clean and polished, but the people made the difference. We spent most of our time relaxing in the lounge and Virag and Rony were amazing. Always super professional and pleasant to chat with. They always took the time to ask how they could help and how we were doing. From the front desk, concierge, doorman, housekeeping, everyone was very pleasant. That will bring us back.

Great customer service! Great location! Beautiful facilities! Overall great experience. Got upgraded to a park view suite (because of Marriott status). Unfortunately I arrived at around 1:45 pm but wasn’t able to check in to my room until around 5:30 (because the previous guest was a status member as well and had 4pm late check out). However, I had been upgraded to a suite so I was ok with it. I had been traveling for the past day so the staff showed me to a large bathroom where I could change and freshen up. They then offered to store my bags for me for the next few hours. I also had access ro the Sheraton Club lounge so I was able to access that while I waited. The lounge had a huge selection! You can access it 24 hours a day but food is only offered from about 7a-7:30p. The breakfast selection is HUGE! Don’t pay for breakfast if you have lounge access. They also have afternoon tea-like snacks and then small plates/appetizers buffet in the evenings. As well as alcoholic and non alcoholic beverages. All is self serve. The staff is wonderful. All beautifully presented. Back ti the guest room, it was huge. Tons of space (again this was a grand park view suite). Plenty of towels. Robes. Bed was sooo comfortable. Mini bar (cost). Room service available. The bed was an actual king bed (for those Americans who are wondering). And they had umbrellas to use if needed! A little loud if facing the street. A lot of cars and street noise. However, no noise from neighboring rooms. Very walkable. Next to a beautiful park. And a short 6 min walk to the green park underground. However, I did take an Uber from LHR to and from the hotel. (Train was estimated to be a little over an hour 1 way plus I didn’t want to deal with my bags). It cost about £56-59 each way. Took about 45 mins to get from LHR to hotel at 1pm. Took about 35 mins to get from hotel back to LHR at 7am. They have a few stairs leading into the lobby so you have to carry your bags down or up. But there is plenty of staff and they are eager to help. The concierge was great too. Soooo helpful and friendly.

We stayed at this property during a recent spring break holiday with two kids and found it to be a good option for what we needed. The hotel has a great deal of history and was beautifully maintained in a traditional style. We arrived early in the morning from a transatlantic flight and unfortunately, our room was not yet ready. We were able to get into our room just after lunchtime. The hotel did grant us access to the club which allowed us to grab a quick bite before going out to explore the city. We booked a grand view park suite which is a great setup for a family of 4. There is a separate bedroom and living/dining room, however one item to pay attention to is that there is only 1 king bed in the room and no pull out sofa. The hotel had to bring in extra cots for our kids and they slept in the living room. The setup worked, but was a bit of a strange layout for a larger suite and we were not able to use much of the dining room, as the cots were in the middle of the room. There were two sofas in the living room, but neither pulled out into a bed. That would have been a great option to make better use of the space. Overall the room was nicely appointed and the bed was extremely comfortable with the exception of pillows ... The pillows were absolutely horrible and provided no purpose as they compressed down into almost nothing when trying to sleep. The hotel should definitely invest in some better options. The hotel has a club lounge for snacks, breakfast, afternoon tea, etc. The options were good for most, however if you have food allergies eating in the lounge is a bit more challenging. They were not great with labeling items and there were not many options for those who suffer from even the most common food allergies. Prosecco was offered multiple times throughout the day free of charge which was a nice treat. There are two coffee machines for espresso style drinks. Breakfast times can be busy in the lounge, so we found getting down there early was helpful. We had drinks one night at the bar in the main lobby. The atmosphere is lovely, but the drinks were nothing special and very expensive. The drinks at Mercante (attached to the hotel) were much better and less expensive. The food was also great. The staff was wonderful. Everyone we encountered was extremely well trained and welcoming. The concierge staff were helpful in finding unique dining options and suggestions for local tours. The location of the hotel is great. We were able to walk to most places in central London. Buckingham Palace is a short walk across the park, as are the Churchill War Rooms and we walked to Mayfair most days for dinners. With so many hotels to choose from in London, this was definitely a good option for the price, location and club offerings.
