I have booked in for a day stay as I’ve had meetings. I was greeted with a lovely smile of the girl working at a reception desk - Karolina - and I got checked in earlier. Full of empatyh and understanding. Then I’ve had another Great experience and againg full of understanding and empaty with Agata who also worked at reception. Hotel was very clean and the breakfast was amazing!!! Hampton should be proud to have employees like them 😊 Thank you 😊

“Close to airport”

Good for what is needed. Clean, close airport. 2 minute walk to the dart. Had food (burger and pizza, both fast and hot). We did move rooms because of a loud party in the function room, and because we had an early flight we didn’t want to listen to loud music until late. But we went down to the d... more

Good for what is needed. Clean, close airport. 2 minute walk to the dart. Had food (burger and pizza, both fast and hot). We did move rooms because of a loud party in the function room, and because we had an early flight we didn’t want to listen to loud music until late. But we went down to the desk and they promptly moved us rooms to the other side of the hotel. You can get breakfast bags to go which were ok to take to the airport.

Spent a night here having flown back into Luton airport. The location is super convenient for the airport, particularly if using public transport and the "Dart" transfer shuttle. The hotel is fine, but theres something funny about the vibe which I can't quite put my finger on. Its like its missing something. No atmosphere. The staff arn't particularly friendly and the guy who served me at the snack bar seemed to find my simple order as well as the person's after mine too mentally taxing to deal with, plus he didn't bring any cutlery over with my food so I had to go to the bar and ask for it. I witnessed a receptionist dealing with an issue with a guy who I suspect is ASD/neurodivergent which could have been handled better. Considering this is the Hilton brand, I've honestly had better staff service at your average Premier Inn or Travelodge to here. The staff and the vibe at the Hampton by Hilton in Canterbury is way better than here. The included breakfast is very good I have to say.

Stayed overnight prior to a flight and also made use of the car parking. A good price for both. Positives: - So close to the train station (1 min walk) - Walkable distance to terminal (I did it in 20 mins). Positives: - So close to the train station (1 min walk) - Walkable distance to terminal (I did it in 20 mins). Local bus stops outside if you prefer this. - Excellent buffet breakfast - Good shower Negatives: - Dirty crockery in room that hadn't been washed after someone had drunk a coffee. Called the reception for a replacement and was told that they were short staffed and I'd have to come down and get one myself. Felt this was a really poor response. No apology. - Teas, coffees, sugars had not been replenished in room. 1 English breakfast tea bag, 1 fruit tea bag, 1 sugar and 2 sweeteners!! Bizarre. - Kettle positioned in what looks like a wooden fireplace surround which doubles up as the TV stand. No plug next to it, so you have to move it to another part of the room. Travel sized kettle. The hotel usually costs approximately £100/night so when you factor in some of the above negatives, it is hard to describe it as anything better than average. My biggest gripe was the response of the staff member to my simple request for a clean mug and her inability to apologise for this.
