More time to explore the beautiful city of Split. Then we'll head down to the port to take the ferry from Split to Stari Grad on the beautiful island of Hvar. Please note that the crossing takes around 2 hours. After arriving, we'll drive through stunning landscapes smelling of lavender, rosemary and pine, with views of virgin forests and pristine white-pebbled beaches. In Stari Grad we'll discover beautiful cultural and agricultural landscapes, declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO, which have remained virtually unchanged since they were first colonised by the Ionian Greeks in the fourth century BC. Our journey will then take us through picturesque villages such as Vrboska until we reach the gorgeous capital city of Hvar. Its lively atmosphere, its trail of historical landmarks and its vibrant nightlife have made it fashionable among domestic and international tourists. We recommend visiting the Cathedral of St. Stephen, the Historic Theatre, the Spanish Fortress, the Tvrdalj Palace, Fort Napoleon... Overnight stay in Hvar.

And on with our adventure! This beautiful Adriatic island guards many secrets that are well worth unearthing. After wandering around the capital (Hvar), admire its beautiful azure blue bay, its harbour dotted with luxury yachts of the rich and famous, and the picturesque pier that stretches up to the main square. Then it's back on the road to explore the island at our own pace. Its small size, gentle slopes, 2,700 hours of sunshine a year, blue skies and Instagram-worthy landscapes are the perfect ingredients for unforgettable drives. We'll leave behind the beautiful image of cream-coloured stone houses and terracotta roofs from a summit dominated by the Spanish Fortress, and set out on an attractive route dotted with limestone houses, beautiful lavender-covered landscapes and a vast blue sea as far as the eye can see. Our itinerary features picturesque villages such as Jelsa and Humac. And if you want a break from the road and the bustle of Hvar Town to chill out on the beach for a day, just hop on a catamaran over to the Pakleni Islands. We bid farewell to this beautiful island, often ranked one of the most stunning in the world, which has brightened the lives of everyone from emperors like Diocletian to present-day celebrities. So, with a heavy heart, it's goodbye to its fusion of nature and architecture, with Gothic, Renaissance and Venetian features, to its Mediterranean beaches and coves, to its delicious cuisine, to its marina, and to its party atmosphere famous throughout Europe. Then we'll take the ferry from the port of Stari Grad back to the city of Split. In fact, the opulent Diocletian's Palace, the amazing complex declared a World Heritage Site, has been one of the main locations for the blockbusting TV series Game of Thrones. We'll round off our trip by touring the graceful island of Hvar, a natural paradise famous throughout Europe for its chic and exclusive atmosphere. Driving around Hvar is a real treat. Its 2,700 hours of sunshine a year, its beach clubs frequented by artists and celebrities, its white pebble beaches and pristine waters, its dense lavender-blanketed landscapes, its views out to an azure sea dotted with luxury yachts... all make it a truly unforgettable place. From Split, you can go on interesting trips to the ancient pirate town of Omiš, the ruins of Salona (Solin), or the charming medieval town of Trogir.
